2016-2021 Strategic Plan
Strategic Goal 1:  Evaluate and improve upon current CFD emergency response program to enhance the delivery of fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the community.

Strategic Goal 2:  Develop and implement a comprehensive approach to workforce recruitment, hiring, retention, and planning; resulting in a diverse, effective workforce to meet the present and future needs of the department.

Strategic Goal 3:  Develop a written comprehensive resource allocation plan to meet the CFD's standards of cover.

Strategic Goal 4:  Promote and expand the departments risk reduction programs to educate and preserve our community.

Strategic Goal 5:  Enhance and expand the training division and programs to fulfill the department's operational goals.

Strategic Goal 6:  Improve departmental communication to enhance consistency.

Strategic Goal 7:  Promote stronger relationships with our community through enhanced strategies and proactive outreach.
