Lifeguard TrainingLifeguard Training

This is a blended learning class where a portion will be completed online prior to start of in-water at the pool. One week before start of class, participants will be scheduled for  prerequisites: 

  • swim 300 meters
  • retrieve a brick from deep water
  • tread water for two minutes without using hands

Books will be handed out upon completion of prerequisites. The course includes CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications. Please register online at rectrac.charleston-sc.gov.
