In 2018, the City hired Novak Consulting Group to perform an organizational assessment and identify opportunities for process improvement. In that year Novak conducted a workforce profile and employee survey that provided the City with a baseline understanding of who works for the organization and insights into how employees perceive and experience working for the City.
Based on initial employee interviews, Novak conducted area specific assessments and has been providing reports containing specific recommendations for improving how we do business. The Chief Innovation Officer and Process Improvement Director work with departments to help them analyze these reports and evaluate and implement the recommendations.
