One Killed in Shooting at The Jaunt Apartments 

 

Charleston, S.C. - Charleston Police announced a shooting left one dead at The Jaunt Apartments on March 2. 

 

Last night, March 2, at 7:31 p.m., CPD officers responded to 1840 Carriage Lane in reference to a shooting. On arrival, they located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Charleston County EMS and the Charleston County Coroner’s Office responded and declared the victim deceased at the scene.

 

Charleston Police detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded and processed the scene.

 

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the deceased.

 

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the on-duty CPD central detective at (843) 743-7200. Anyone with information who wishes to remain anonymous is asked to contact Lowcountry Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111.
