Developers with varied backgrounds are invited to share opportunities and challenges related to their experiences developing affordable and workforce housing and how the Mayors’ Commission can assist in fostering change.
The meeting will take place at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 2 George Street in the first floor Public Meeting Room.
The Mayors' Commission on Homelessness and Affordable Housing is an effort established by Mayor John J. Tecklenburg of the City of Charleston with support and collaboration from Mayor Will Haynie of Mount Pleasant, Mayor Keith Summey of North Charleston and Mayor Wiley Johnson of Summerville. The Commission’s goal is to ensure safe, decent, affordable housing and services for homeless persons, those at-risk of becoming homeless and very low-, low- and moderate- income citizens.
