In consultation with the National Weather Service, the City of Charleston will delay the start of the Holiday Parade to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2019.
Rain and winds are forecast to move through the area tomorrow and are expected to clear in the afternoon.
The city Tree Lighting ceremony in Marion Square will begin immediately following the parade.
City emergency management officials will continue to monitor weather conditions throughout the morning tomorrow and will provide any updates, as needed.
