Why can’t I access the City of Charleston on-line citation payment website?
Occasionally, customers have difficulty accessing the website due to a particular web browser a customer uses or a firewall on a customer’s computer system. We do recommend using a recent version of more common Internet Browsers (such as Internet Explorer, Chrome or Safari), which have been verified to be able to access our online payment system properly. While we strive to make this system as accessible as possible, there may at times be issues beyond our control.

If this situation occurs, be aware that Citations may also be paid over the phone by calling 843-724-7375 during regular business hours. Also, if you can provide our office with information on the date/time/citation and browser/PC Operating System you are using when unable to access our system, we can investigate to see if improved accessibility can be achieved.
