How do I recycle my old mattress or box spring?

There are two options for City residents to recycle old mattresses:

  1. DROP OFF: Bring your mattresses and/or box springs to a designated drop off location for FREE recycling (limit four pieces per vehicle). Proof of residency may be requested. Participants are reminded to wear a mask and practice safe social distancing.
  2. PICK UP: To schedule a pick up for your mattresses, visit www.BedShred.com (fees apply).  Since this is a private program not managed by the City, this organization also offers their services beyond City limits.
