Lieutenant Matthew Stanley
earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. He is a 2015 graduate of the Administrative Officers Management Program (AOMP), which provides graduate level management and leadership education for law enforcement professionals as part of the School of Public and International Affairs at North Carolina State University.
Career
During his 15-year career in law enforcement he has been assigned to the following areas: Uniform Patrol Division, Team 2 Investigations, and Central Investigation Division (Violent Crimes Unit/Homicide). He is currently assigned as the Commander of Team Two Patrol Division (Lower Peninsula).
Additional Duties / Assignments
In addition to his various assignments, Lieutenant Stanley is an active member of the Crisis Negotiation Team and has served on the Team since 2008.
