Clara's Kids Club - Empowering Environmental Stewardship in Charleston

Keep Charleston Beautiful's Clara's Kids Club is a youth litter cleanup "club" offered to children and families located within the City of Charleston. Each event is designed to pair litter education with a hands-on litter cleanup. KCB's litter prevention pelican mascot, Clara the Pelican, attends each event and works alongside the volunteers to reinforce the importance of cleaning up litter. Involvement is not restricted by age, and family members or guardians are encouraged to attend each event as well.
