 How long does it take to process and receive a residential parking permit via the mail? Applications will be processed and sent out for delivery by the US Postal Service within 2-4 business days from the date we receive your application in the mail.

 How can I pay my citation(s) online?  Please visit the following website charlestonsc.t2hosted.com/account/portal.

 How do I appeal my citation(s)?  If you want to appeal your City of Charleston parking ticket, you must make an appointment with an adjudications officer within 30 days of the date the ticket is issued.  Please sign up for an appointment at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/adjhearings.  If you have any questions, please contact Parking Revenue Collections at (843) 724-7375.

The online portal cannot locate any parking citations but I received an email/letter saying that I have outstanding fines.  Why can’t I see my outstanding citations?  You can locate all outstanding citations on the portal unless you have been approved for a payment plan.   For these types of payments, the City only accepts payment through the mail or in person. If you are still unable to locate your citations please contact 843-724-7375 for assistance.

 What happens if I buy or sale a vehicle? A bill/affidavit of sale in the current owner(s) name must be submitted to receive a residential parking decal.  

 What if I need to replace my windshield? Current decals can be replaced/exchange at a cost of one (1) dollar per occurrence.

 I am a renter, but I cannot see how to purchase a one-day pass booklet?  One day passes for guest of renters are not available for purchase online.  Renters are allotted fourteen (14) one (1) day passes each six (6) month(s) lease term.   The renter must provide a copy of his/her guest vehicle registration, identification and length of his/her stay.   The cost of one (1) day guest passes are five (5) dollars per day not to exceed fourteen (14) days.  Renters without a current residential parking decal must provide a valid lease agreement in order for his/her guest to be issued any one (1) day parking passes.
