Charleston, S.C. – The 34th Annual Reindeer Run will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Downtown Charleston. Several road closures and parking restrictions will be in place to support the event.
Schedule
- 5:00 a.m. – Parking enforcement begins
- 7:45 a.m. – Race route closes
- 8:45 a.m. – Race begins
- 9:30 a.m. – Last participants expected to cross the finish line; most of the route reopens (portions of Meeting Street remain closed)
- 10:00 a.m. – Awards ceremony concludes
- 11:00 a.m. – All roads reopen
Race Route
Participants will follow the route listed below:
- Start on Meeting Street near Cumberland Street, heading south
- Continue on Meeting Street to South Battery Street
- Right onto South Battery Street to King Street
- Left onto King Street to Murray Boulevard
- Right onto Murray Boulevard to Tradd Street
- U-turn near Tradd Street and proceed to East Battery
- Left onto South Battery Street, then to Meeting Street
- Right onto Meeting Street and proceed north to the finish line near Cumberland Street
Parking Restrictions
On-street parking will be prohibited in the following areas beginning 5:00 a.m. on December 13:
- Meeting Street within 200 feet of South Battery Street
- South Battery Street between Meeting Street and King Street
- King Street between South Battery Street and Murray Boulevard
- Murray Boulevard between King Street and Tradd Street
Vehicles not removed by 5:00 a.m. are subject to towing.
Vehicle access to numerous businesses and residences along the route will be limited during the event. Officers will be posted throughout the course to assist with traffic flow and help residents navigate closures.
